A Local Taste is happening in Fairbury from 11-6, Saturday, August 12, at Sunken Park in Downtown Fairbury.

Steidinger Foods Owner Brad Steidinger explained the idea behind creating the event, featuring local foods and more.

“The idea is that people will have smaller samples so you can go to several different vendors and try different products. If you find something you like, you can do that, too. In addition to the food, we’ll have music, some entertainment, some things for the kids to do, so there will be a lot of other things going on, too,” Steidinger said.
