OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center was recently awarded a three year term of accreditation in magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, after a review by the American College of Radiology.

Community Relations Coordinator Pam Meiner explained that this recognition represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety.

“The ACR’s accreditation for MRI is very rigorous on many points and aspects of the quality of the images we produce and throughout their survey, they did not find one single suboptimal finding in any of the aspects they surveyed and that’s just remarkable to get that high of a score on our accreditation survey. So, we’re really proud to share that with the communities and the patients we serve,” Meiner said.
