The Livingston County Ag Fair and 4-H Show begins Wednesday and runs through Saturday and is packed with daily activities.
Alcha Corban, 4-H Youth Development Coordinator for the University of Illinois Extension office describes how the day will go for the 4-H participants and their families.
“Wednesday is a big judging day for us. We’re running around crazy, but it’s a lot of fun for us. Later that evening, we’re going to be doing Ag Olympics, which we didn’t have last year and we were so sad, but we’re excited it’s coming back. We have our stations set up and we’ve got the T-shirts ordered, so you’re going to see all these kids running around that evening, so we really encourage people to come out and see what’s going on and cheer the kids on as they compete in the Ag Olympics,” Corban said.
Also happening Wednesday will be the crowning of the king and queen at 7 before the Ag Olympics and a dance with a DJ at the recreation shelter at 8:30.
