With the recent expansion of Caterpillar – Pontiac and the new jobs that are available, its human resources department is making it easier to apply for the many jobs they are currently hiring for.

Human Resources Manager Kevin Kramer said they want to make it as easy as possible for people to get a job at CAT.

“Since all of our applicants must apply online, sometimes a person may need some additional assistance, mainly in the area of helping set up their user name or password, but also sometimes navigating the system to find those Caterpillar jobs for the Pontiac facility. So, anyone who shows up Wednesday will be greeted by an HR representative and will take them to the computer lab and give them detailed, hands-on instructions on how to apply online. So, before someone leaves the facility that day, we’ll help them apply online and also give them a heads up on the application process and hiring process,” Kramer said.

Opportunities are from 4 to 6 every Wednesday in July. People are asked to enter at Gate One to check in.
