Meadows Community in rural Chenoa is holding its Senior Fitness Assessment July 10 and 12 from 8 to 11 at the Meadows Therapy Room.

Rehab Director Melissa Rich describes what will be happening that day.

“The testing involves upper body strength, lower body strength, flexibility, endurance and balance, so we will be going over all of those and testing all of those. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes and then what we do is enter all your results in a data base and print them off for you so you have it right there, and if there’s stuff we see or stuff that is printed out that you need work on, then you can take that to your doctor, get a doctor’s order, and we actually have outpatient services right at Meadows Community, where we can treat you for whatever we find that you may need to improve on,” Rich said.

While walk-ins are welcome, those who would like to register for a specific time can call 309-747-3652.
