The Fairbury Woman’s Club is holding a blood drive from noon to 6 Wednesday at the Fairbury Baptist Church.

Club member Carol Ely said they are always looking for donors.

“Blood is always short in the summertime. For those people who can get on the computer, they can go to a website, redcrossblood.org/rapidpass and get a pass that can help you get through faster. You can do some your work on the computer before you come in and it’ll save you about 15 minutes that day, so that’s something to check out if you’re in a hurry. We will be doing this in cooperation with the American Red Cross, so we hope we can get many appointments for that day,” Ely said.
