The Livingston County Farm Bureau hosted its KidSmart Safety Camp Thursday, which included more than 70 kids.
Isabella Bunting of Emington is a veteran of the program and enjoyed her day.
“It’s fun and it’s a good experience to know how to stay safe if you life on a farm and to stay safe in general,” Bunting said.
Hannah Miller of Cabury says other kids should come to the next one in two years for many reasons.
“You get to learn and it’s fun and educational,” Miller said.
Manager Jody Hughes highlighted a new program the children enjoyed.
“OSF came out and had the kids running around. They all got Fit Bit step counters. That was new for us and the kids really enjoyed it,” Hughes said.
