Pontiac Public Library’s Summer Reading Program begins June 12 and runs for 7 weeks, but registration begins Thursday.

Director Kristin Holzhauer explains all the events that will be happening at the library throughout the summer.

“It bridges the gap of education between school ending in the spring and school starting in the fall, but it’s fun. The activities this year are STEAM related and we have STEAM activities for each age group and Monday through Friday, we will focus on one of the elements of STEAM. We have ‘Mighty Math Mondays,’ ‘Trendy Tech Tuesdays,’ ‘How it Works Wednesdays,’ ‘Totally Arts Thursdays’ and ‘Freaky Science Fridays,’” Holzhauer explained.

Register at the library or by calling 844-7229.
