The Livingston County Sheriff’s Proactive Gang/Drug Unit executed two separate investigations in Streator on May 4 and 9, resulting in several drug-related arrests.
According to a press release, the first investigation and search warrant was executed May 4 in the 1600 block of South Vermillion Street. The investigation led to the seizure of over 15 grams of heroin, $600 and hypodermic syringes.
Jodie Yanek, Harry Bohannon, Alivia Goplin and Christopher Derosset, all of Streator, were arrested on charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
The second was an investigation May 9 at the intersection of Bloomington and Second streets. During that investigation, over 12 grams of heroin and $600 were seized as evidence.
Charles Entwistle of Streator was arrested on charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
These investigations are ongoing with more charges possibly pending.
