While cats and dogs are known for becoming skittish around the 4th of July, the same thing can happen when thunder strikes, as it did with the storms the area experienced last weekend.
Livingston County Humane Society’s Karen Gregory describes some things you can do to help your pets make it through those noisy times.
“The first thing is Thursday – wristband night, which will be from 6 to 10, Saturday from 1 to 5 and Sunday from 1 to 5. If you go Saturday, you will be able to enter to win a bike. That will be sponsored through A & A Attractions Carnival. Also Saturday is Kids Day, so there’s going to be a lot of different things,” Finkenbinder said.
