The University of Illinois Extension is holding a spring event called “A Day in the Garden Patch.”

Horticulture Educator Kelly Allsup has more.

“You have the landscaping class with Patrick Murphy, the companion planting with myself, and then the Master Gardeners will do a container making party, so everybody gets to take home a container. There’s a cost of $20 for the container and the class. It will be April 8 from 9-12 and we’ll get a jump start on the spring,” Allsup said.
