The Pontiac Rotary Club honored its Citizen of the Year Tuesday with what turned out to be a good-natured roast.

Harold Frobish said he had a feeling he knew what was coming in people’s speeches and laughed right along with the crowd.

“Oh yes, I regularly have breakfast with some of these guys and they’ve been threatening me right along, so yes, I was ready for them. I was actually pleased. It could have been worse. We had a good time. I’m very pleased the folks came out. Livingston County is a great place to raise a family. That’s why I came back from Peoria. Never regretted it. It was a good choice and we’re just glad to have Pontiac and the way it is,” Frobish said.

Frobish is the 36th Citizen of the Year for the Pontiac Rotary Club.
