A Pontiac man was arrested late Sunday afternoon after he admitted to tossing a handgun over one of the swinging bridges.
According to Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis, an anonymous complaint came in about two people smoking marijuana on the swinging bridge at Humiston Riverside Park. When officers arrived, the two tossed unknown items over the bridge and walked in the opposite direction. When officers talked to the subjects, Kody Price admitted he had thrown a .45 caliber pistol, which was found on a concrete bridge support. Price is currently on parole and was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
