Trunkin’ Treasure Sale returning to Pontiac

By Cynthia Grau/WJEZ News

The annual Trunkin’ Treasure sale is coming back to Downtown Pontiac May 6 and 7, and registration for this event begins today.

Tourism Specialist Liz Vincent describes the event.

“The Trunkin’ Treasure is a community event where we invite everyone in the community to come down and instead of having our city wide garage sales spread out all over time, people can come down to the city parking lot (across from the Law and Justice Center) and sell their garage sale stuff there. And we’re really pushing this year to get involvement from local, non-profit community organizations. For instance, the United Way is going to be setting up this year, along with a local Relay for Life team will once again be hosting our food vendor down on the square,” Vincent said.

To register, contact Pontiac Tourism at 844-5847 or email Vincent at [email protected].
