The Pontiac Public Library is teaming up with the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners to bring you the program “Getting your garden started” it’s as easy as ready, set, grow!”

Library Director Kristin Holzhauer has more.

“We are going to welcome Master Gardner Connie Kostelc out to the library and she is going to be doing a hands-on gardening workshop and give you the tips and tricks to help you have a successful garden this spring and summer, and you’ll be able to leave with planted starters from seed that you can transfer to your garden later on in the spring,” Holzhauer said.

The program is from 5 to 7 on Thursday at the library. For more information, call 844-7229.
