The Illinois high school basketball post-season opened last night with girls regionals in Classes 1A and 2A. In 1A, Tri-Point picked up a 44-23 win over Illinois Lutheran at Gardner, while in 2A at El Paso-Gridley, host EPG beat Dee-Mack 44-27 and Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland advanced with a 52-17 win over Henry-Senachwine. EPG takes on Fieldcrest and FCW faces Peoria Christian tonight.
