The Route 66 Association of Illinois is looking for new members.

Longtime member Dave Sullivan was a guest on a recent Community Forum and describes some of the things members get to do as part of the group.

“Last year, I believe, one of their big projects was they repainted the hotdog statue in Atlanta, Illinois. A couple years ago here in Pontiac, they resealed and did a lot of maintenance work on the Bob Waldmire Bus. A lot of people enjoy going to that work day and doing that,” Sullivan said.
