Library offering training for new equipment

The Pontiac Public Library is offering training for patrons for all its new technology.

Director Kristin Holzhauer said this training is for the updated printing, faxing, scanning and the new public hot spot.

“There’s quite a bit of new capability with the new machines that we have and we want to be able to inform the community and train the community on the use of that. So, I am opening up two community training nights. They are on Thursday January 19 and January 26 from 6 to 6:45 p.m. We’ll show you how to use our copier, we’ll show you how to fax and scan and if you have your own device, like a tablet or phone, we’ll show you how to use our public hot spot,” Holzhauer said.

Space is limited for these classes, so call the library at 844-7706 to sign up.
