The Pontiac Salvation is looking for coats for its annual Coat Drive.

Linda Voorheis, director of the Pontiac Salvation Army, explained what coats are needed.

“All ages – men’s, women’s and children. Lightly used and clean, please. We distribute them. We are starting November first. People come in and try to get coats for themselves or their children. They have to have either a medical card or a LINK card with an ID,” Voorheis said.

Two collection bins are located at OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center and one at Big R and County Market. People can also bring them to the Salvation Army, located at 112 North Division Street.
