The village of Dwight opened its new Ace Hardware Thursday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Ace Hardware stores are independently owned, and this new addition is part of a group of 12. Executive Vice President of the group Lucy Stafford, shared her enthusiasm for the opening.

“It’s so exciting. We think Dwight is a great community. It fits us. We like to go into smaller towns and the people are super friendly and have been very welcoming. The staff here is wonderful to work with and everything is going perfect,” Stafford said.

Ace Hardware is located at 104 Watters Drive in Dwight.
