Pontiac Police are looking for two people who are suspected in stealing a credit card and using it illegally.
Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis said the incident happened April 14, after the department was notified of a lost credit card. It was later discovered the card had been used to make a fraudulent purchase of more than $400 at Walmart and the pair attempted to use it later at Casey’s, but it was denied because it had been reported stolen.
“The couple arrived at Walmart in either a gold or silver SUV, which is possibly a Ford Explorer with a sunroof. The male has dark hair with a mustache and goatee. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt that said Built Ford Tough on it. His female accomplice has blonde hair and was wearing a red sweatshirt that said Indiana on the front of it,” Davis said.
For anyone who has any information about the suspects, they are asked to call Detective Mike Henson at 815-844-5148 and people can check the Pontiac Police Department Facebook page for screen shots of the suspects from video surveillance.
