There will be a garage sale to benefit the Cornell Amity Township Museum Saturday in Cornell from 8 to 2.

Gale Donze, curator of the museum, said the sale will be held at the American Legion Hall across from the museum on Route 23 and there will be a lot offered during this sale.

“We have antiques, collectibles, toys and junque, JUNQUE. You may also donate items for the sale, but no clothing, as there will be a clothing giveaway at the Methodist church that day,” Donze said.

This sale will help fund a new awning at the museum. To donate items, contact Donze at 815-358-2973 or 848-3773. Items can also be dropped off at the American Legion the day of the sale.
