Jock Jibberish: Misleading ‘healthy’ labels

When people who like to shop “healthy” are perusing the stock at the grocery stores, they oftentimes check the labels of every item, comparing which one they believe is better. This morning, Todd and Cynthia will go down the list of labels that sound healthy, but may not be as healthy as you think.

For example, when a labels says it’s a “good source” of something, that just means it has SOME amount of that ingredient. Like if it says it’s a good source of fiber, it could potentially only contain ten percent of your daily requirement.
