After months of campaigning, the victors of several local races were announced Tuesday evening in Livingston County.
Danny Watson, who ran against Keri Jo Schmidt for the next Livingston County Coroner, came out on top for the evening, with more than 60 percent of the vote.
“I feel pretty fantastic for all the support Mike (Burke) gave me and all the people in Livingston County who requested signs and for all the support they gave me for telling their friends and for getting out and voting. Things will continue as they have at the coroner’s office, I hope with the exact same service they’ve come to expect from Mike’s office,” Watson said.
Randy Yedinak was victorious in his campaign to be the next Livingston County State’s Attorney, who came out on top of incumbent Seth Uphoff, also garnering more than 60 percent of the vote. Yedinak could not be reached for comment.
