By Mail and Early Voting won’t be happening on February 4 as planned in Livingston County.
According to Livingston County Clerk Kristy Masching, ongoing objections to several presidential candidates are not anticipated to be resolved by the State Board of Elections in time for ballots to be prepared and voting tabulators to be programmed by the opening of the By Mail and Early Voting date of February 4. Masching said the ballots and machines are anticipated to be available no later than February 17, which is the beginning of Grace Period Registration and Voting.
Masching said it’s possible the ballots may be available prior to February 17 and her office will notify the public if that is the case.
