A Fairbury woman has won the most recent OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center first quarter Achievers in Mission for Excellence award.

According to a press release from the hospital, Jean Ann Wenger, who is a registered nurse in the surgery department, has been an employee since 1997 and was selected for the qualities, including determination, her positive and upbeat attitude and her ability to perform as an integral part of the team.

With this honor, Jean Ann received a framed certificate of appreciation, a monetary gift, a reception in her department, a corsage and a special parking place.  Her name and picture will be added to the A.I.M. for Excellence plaque in the medical center’s lobby.
