The Livingston County Public Health Department is continuing to hold wellness health clinics.

Linda Rhodes, health education and marketing director for the health department said these clinics are designed to look for potential health issues and meant to keep those screenings affordable.

Rhodes said heart disease and stroke are the number one cause of death in Livingston County and they are hoping to change that statistic.

Screenings available include blood glucose, PSA for the prostate and TSH to test thyroid function. Other screenings are also available.

For more information and for dates of the clinics, contact the health department at 844-7174.
