District 6 State Police are investigating a car accident that claimed the life of one Saturday.

According to Livingston County Coroner Michael Burke, the accident happened on Route 66 and 2500 North Road in Odell Township shortly after 4 p.m. The passenger of the car, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead after they were found without signs of life.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Assisting state police included Odell Fire Department and ambulance and Duffy EMS.
