The ice and wind that took Livingston County by storm Monday left some lasting impressions.

On Tuesday morning, Com Ed reported that the storm knocked power out for 7,900 customers in Pontiac and as of late Tuesday morning, 2,735 had yet to be restored. Of those Com Ed said the majority would be restored by the end of Tuesday, with some individual outages being taken care of later this morning.

The Pontiac Rec Center staged a warming center late Monday evening and into Tuesday, with areas for people to gather if they had no electricity and they also offered drinks for those people.

The county will continue its cleanup effort from what Winter Storm Goliath left in Central Illinois.
