Illinois lawmakers have had a busy year, tallying 327 new laws and State Representative Tom Bennett explained one of the laws.

The Right to Try law gives people with a terminal illness another route for treatment.

“It will allow them, once they’ve considered all the FDA approved treatment options, to try new drugs or treatments or testing that have not been fully approved,” Bennett said.

Bennett will be a guest on Community Forum tomorrow morning at 6:45 and will talk about more laws that will come to the state January 1.
