After another day of searching for Louis Lowery, who has been missing since early Saturday morning, area law enforcement still couldn’t locate him.

According to Pontiac Police Chief Jim Woolford, his department utilized officers from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, Illinois State Air Operations and a second day of bloodhound tracking from Joliet Police Department. The bloodhound ended its tracking at the walking bridge near Riverview Street at Play Park, but exhibited no behavior that his its handler recognized as a water entry. ISP Air Operations also reported no sightings.

Woolford asks residents and farmers to remain vigilant in checking properties, especially high grass, waterways and outbuildings. They have no information that has narrowed down their direction or field of search.
