“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” was published in November of 1957 and was produced into the famous animated Christmas special in 1966.

“The 12  Days of Christmas” is about the 12 days AFTER Christmas, not before. They end on January 6th, which is a holiday called the Feast of Epiphany.
