The Heartland Community College Foundation awarded a record 188 scholarships in four ceremonies held in October and November.
The following local students received scholarships:
Cullen Breeden of Forrest, Morgan Vaughan, Trevar Moran and Cole Fairley of Fairbury, Alexander Gray of Flanagan and Kristina Ruiz and Tina Maier of Pontiac won the Caterpillar Scholarship
Skylar Alford, Sarah Harder and Adam Shelton, all of Pontiac, won the Pearl Davies Bowman Scholarship.
Sidney Dunning of Pontiac won the Presidential Scholarship.
Aubrie Taylor of Odell won the SOCU Member Scholarship.
Tyler Wenger of Forrest won the State Bank of Graymont Scholarship.
