The Pontiac Police Department is investigating several car burglaries that happened over the past two weeks.

According to Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis, these burglaries happened to four cars parked at the Pontiac Rec Center during the first week of December and seven more last Friday at the Pontiac Elks Lodge.

He said they are possibly related to numerous other thefts in the area. Investigations are ongoing.

Davis said to keep valuables out of plain sight in your vehicle or just keep them out of your vehicle all together, if possible. If you have any information pertaining to these car burglaries, contact LivCom at 844-0911.
