State Representative Tom Bennett filed approximately 1,900 petition signatures to the State Board of Elections obtained from registered voters in support of his re-election.

Bennett said he is very thankful for the support he received from those voters agreeing to put his name on the ballot so he could run for re-election. He said he will continue to advocate for all residents of the 106th District, as he knows there is still much more work to be done for taxpayers.

Illinois election law requires candidates seeking the nomination for State Representative to file a minimum of 500 signatures from likely Republican registered voters. State Representative Tom Bennett exceeded the minimum requirement by filing approximately an additional 1,400 signatures from potential Republican primary voters.
