Beginning today, notices of assessment change for the 2015 assessment year will be mailed for all property that had an individual change in assessed value.

Notices will include the 2015 Full Fair Cash Value for all residential properties. If the property owner believes there is unequal treatment in the assessment process, they should submit at least three similar properties within the same neighborhood that show inequities in the assessment process.

Since this is the quadrennial assessment year, all parcels will be published in local newspapers. If you do not agree, there are specific steps to take in filing an informal review.
