The Prairie Central After-Prom committee will be holding a fundraiser this Saturday at the Fairbury VFW.

For $7, people can enjoy a meal of pulled pork, cheesy potatoes, green beans, dessert and a drink from 4-7 and Bingo from 7 to 10.

Normalynne Bashford, one of the event organizers, said the event is one of the many that help fund the important after prom program.

“After Prom is a drug free and alcohol free area where we hope to keep the children safe and contained for a few hours after the dance. We will serve them food, play games and have some entertainment for them and of course have prizes,” Bashford said.

Tickets will be sold at the door and bingo cards will also be sold at the event.
