The Children’s Advocacy Center recently received high marks for its most recent accreditation.

Judy Brucker, executive director for the Child Protection Network, was a recent guest on Community Forum and said the though the process is arduous, she’s happy and not surprised by the findings.

“You have to submit your application about six months in advance and it’s about 800 pages long. It’s really a great opportunity to review your practices and procedures to make certain you’re complying with best practice standards in the field at this point in time,” Brucker said.

The local Children’s Advocacy Center helps children and families in Livingston, McLean and DeWitt counties.
