A Pontiac man was convicted of felony drug charges after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
According to Livingston County State’s Attorney Seth Uphoff, 35-year-old Adam Krasner was arrested in June, when Pontiac Police officers recovered 15.4 grams of a substance containing heroin.
Krasner was sentenced to 17.5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. In a statement, Uphoff said it was necessary that a significant sentence was imposed, due to Krasner’s prior criminal history and the amount of heroin involved in this case.
