Pontiac’s new Advance Auto Parts held its official ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday to commemorate its opening.

Members of the Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce and store employees gathered to mark the occasion.

Ulysses Suarez, general manager, said he is looking forward to being in the community and helping people with their automotive needs.

“Customer service is our best, so we do offer great customer service and we’re here to support the community as well – Pontiac, Illinois,” Suarez said.

The new store is located at 1031 W. Reynolds Street.
