The seventh annual Mick Day is happening at the 4-H Park in Pontiac Sunday.

From 1 to 4 p.m., there will be games, face painting, coloring and costume contests and a hay rack ride.

Ashley Diaz said the event is free, but there will be concessions for a charge and all those proceeds go to benefit the local boy scouts and girl scouts. Organizers also ask attendees to bring along a canned good, which will go to a local food pantry.

Mick Day is held in honor of Mick Huxtable, the man who started Henry Street Horrors. That local haunted house is taking a leave this year, but the crew expects to have it back up and running next fall.
