Prairie Central High School students were treated to a visit from Livingston County State’s Attorney Seth Uphoff recently.
Uphoff was invited back to speak to students about the consequences of drinking, drugs and sex crimes.
“They wanted to make sure kids are getting as much information as they can about the legal system and the implications it could have for them. Like I told them, every choice they make has consequences, and some of those choices and consequences can have some very long lasting, long term effects,” Uphoff said.
He also told the students they can only control the decisions they make, because after that, the outcome is almost always beyond their control.
