The Livingston County Public Health Department will be conducting a walk-in, seasonal influenza (flu) and pneumonia vaccine clinic at the Reading Township Hall on Wednesday, September 30th, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
The cost of the adult influenza (flu) shot is $35, the cost of the *nasal mist is $40, the cost of the pneumonia23 is $100, and the cost of the Pneumonia13 (Prevnar) is $197. The health department will bill Medicare, Medicaid, and most private/employee health insurance plans. Cash, check, and debit cards are also accepted. The cost for the flu vaccine for children and adults who are under/uninsured is $16, through the VFC/VFA program. if interested in receiving the nasal mist, please call ahead to ensure availability (815-844-717
Flu and pneumonia vaccinations are also available at the health department building, at 310 E. Torrance Ave, in Pontiac, on a walk-in basis from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
