September is National Preparedness Month, and the American Red Cross asks eligible donors to help their communities prepare for emergencies by giving blood regularly.
There will be plenty of chances in several communities in the county Wednesday.
First, the Pontiac VFW will hold their blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Then, the Fairbury United Methodist Church will hold its blood drive from noon to 6, and Flanagan-Cornell High School will hold theirs from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
