Flu season is upon us and the Livingston County Public Health Department is doing its share of protecting area residents.
Linda Rhodes, health education and marketing director for the health department, explained that flu shots are important for people of all ages.
“Because it’s a serious infection and it affects the respiratory tract, so that’s something you really don’t want to have problems with,” Rhodes said.
The Flu Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. while supplies of the vaccination last. For more information, call the health department at 844-7174.
