With the new school year in its second week, administration is already looking forward to the future.

District 429 Superintendent Brian Dukes was a guest on a recent community forum and discussed the goals he and the school board are working on.

“Number one is dealing with our academics for all of our students. The second goal is financial stability for the district. The third goal is making sure we’re communicating and collaborating with the community as much as possible. The last piece is just making sure our facilities are where they need to be and keeping up with those,” Dukes said.
