A Pontiac man is facing several charges after an incident that happened early Tuesday morning.
According to Pontiac Police Major Dan Davis, a pickup truck struck the southeast portion of Casey’s General Store in Pontiac shortly before 1:30 a.m. Employees witnessed the crash and recognized the driver as 40-year-old Dail Fosdick of Pontiac.
Approximately an hour later, Fosdick reported his truck stolen and upon further interview with him, he admitted to police he was the one that struck the building. He also admitted to hiding the vehicle at a rural Pontiac address.
Fosdick was taken to the Livingston County Jail on charges that include reckless driving, failure to give information after an accident and criminal damage to property.
