Traffic stop nets drugs, two arrests

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department made two arrests on Tuesday after an ongoing investigation.

The Livingston County Proactive Unit made a traffic stop and Ladd and Howard streets in Pontiac, which resulted in the discovery of 663 grams of cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cash, which were seized as evidence.

As a result, Jeff Huggins of Colorado was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and Courtney Drenning of Indiana was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Tony Childress said the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possibly pending.
