The name of the victim of the fatal accident east of Saunemin Tuesday has been released with the permission of his family.

Livingston County Coroner Michael P. Burke said 16-year-old Dustin L. Walter was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle accident.

The accident happened on Route 116 at the north curve just west of 3100 north road when his car collided with a westbound semi tractor hauling a flatbed trailer.

The crash is under investigation by the District 6 State Police.
