The Pontiac District 90 Board of Education met last night and discussed where their budgeting is at this time, while waiting on Springfield for final numbers.

Superintendent Jon Kilgore said they’re still looking for improvements, but they’re still making progress.

“What we don’t know, which is frustrating, are the categorical payments,” Kilgore said. “Those categorical payments are transportation, special education funds and driver’s education. Those all add up to a significant amount, so we don’t know yet where things are at.”

Kilgore will be a guest on Community Forum with Todd Wineburner later this morning.
